Our small-group workshops offer an intimate, hands-on learning experience focused on the techniques and craftsmanship behind beautifully finished garments and millinery. Through a series of carefully developed projects, our sewing workshops introduce you to professional techniques used within the fashion industry from accurate construction and sewing methods to clean finishing details that elevate the quality and appearance of a finished piece.

HOW IT WORKS

1. MAKE AN ENQUIRY

Submit an enquiry through our booking form with details about the garment and the alteration or repair you require. This helps us understand your requirements before your appointment.

2. GARMENT ASSESSMENT

Bring your garment to the studio for an assessment and fitting. We will examine the garment, discuss your requirements and determine whether the requested alteration or repair is suitable. Some alterations may require you to try the garment on so that measurements and adjustments can be assessed accurately.

3. QUOTE & CONFIRMATION

Once the garment has been assessed, we will discuss the required work, estimated cost and timeframe with you. The final price may vary depending on the garment, fabric, construction, complexity and amount of work required. Alterations will proceed once the work has been confirmed.

4. ALTERATION OR REPAIR

Your garment will then be carefully altered or repaired according to the agreed requirements. We take care to maintain the original construction, proportions and overall appearance of the garment wherever possible.

5. FINAL FIT & COLLECTION

Where required, a final fitting may be arranged to check the fit and make any necessary minor adjustments. Once the work is completed, your garment will be ready for collection at the agreed time.

Our millinery workshops explore traditional millinery techniques and craftsmanship, giving you the opportunity to learn the methods used to shape, construct and finish headwear with care and precision. Workshops are intentionally kept to small groups, allowing for personalised guidance, practical demonstrations and individual support throughout the project. Whether you are developing your skills or simply looking to learn something new, each workshop is designed to be both creative and practical.

Materials are provided for your workshop project. You are welcome to bring your own sewing equipment and tools. If you don’t have the required equipment, we will provide everything needed to complete the project. Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
