Nayana Design Studio offers small-scale production support for emerging designers, independent labels andcreatives looking to produce limited runs without the commitment of large manufacturing quantities.

Working from an approved pattern, sample or established design, we can assist with the practical production process from cutting and
sewing through to finishing and quality checking.

Our small-batch approach allows for greater exibility, attention to detail and consistency throughout the production process. It is ideal for limited collections, capsule ranges, special projects, independent labels, repeat styles and carefully considered production runs.

We work collaboratively with each client to understand the design, production quantities, specifications, materials and deadlines
before confirming the project.

OUR STUDIO

Our studio is equipped with professional sewing and garment-making equipment to support small-scale production and garment development.

Our facilities include industrial sewing machines, cutting and pressing equipment, pattern and garment development facilities, and other equipment required for professional garment construction.

Available equipment and production methods will depend on the garment type, fabric, construction techniques and production requirements of each project.

HOW IT WORKS

1. PROJECT ENQUIRY

Tell us about your collection or production requirements. Please provide details such as the garment type, number of pieces, size range, fabrics, available patterns or samples, required nishing and your desired completion date.

2. PROJECT REVIEW

We review your requirements to determine whether the project is suitable for our studio and production capacity. For new clients or new designs, we may request an existing sample, production-ready pattern, technical specications or other relevant information before preparing a quote.

3. QUOTE & CONFIRMATION

Once the requirements have been established, we provide a production quote based on the agreed specifications. The quote may include cutting, sewing, finishing and other agreed production services. Production quantities, costs and estimated timeframes will be discussed and confirmed before production begins

4. SAMPLE & APPROVAL

For new styles, a production sample may be required before the full small-batch run begins. The sample allows us to review construction, fit, finishing and production requirements and identify any adjustments needed before proceeding. Production will commence once the sample and specifications have been approved.

5. PRODUCTION

Once everything has been approved, production begins according to the agreed specifications and quantities. We aim to maintain consistency throughout the production run while giving careful attention to construction, finishing and overall quality.

6. QUALITY CHECK & COLLECTION

Each completed piece is checked before being prepared for collection or the agreed delivery arrangement.

PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS

To begin production, clients are generally required to provide:

Approved, production-ready pattern
Approved sample or reference garment
Fabric
Lining and interfacing, where required
Trims and accessories
Buttons, zips and other closures
Labels and branding materials
Size specications
Construction or technical information, where applicable

All materials should be supplied in the required quantities and be suitable for the agreed production specications.

If you require assistance with pattern development, grading, sampling, technical preparation or other pre-production services, these can be discussed separately before production begins.
